Beef Cheek Pot Roast
Ingredients
1 pound meat cut into cubes 2×2 cm each (6 servings)
1 celery root, diced
1 celery stick, diced
2 white carrots, diced
2 orange carrots, diced
1 small leek, cut into thin rings
1 small onion or 2 shallots, diced
1 tsp Italian herbs
½ tsp black pepper
1 tsp salt
2 tbsp olive oil
2 cups beef broth
Instructions
Fry meat in a pot with olive oil on all sides on high heat.
Remove meat from pot and keep warm.
Add the vegetables and spices to the pot and fry for a few minutes until slightly softened.
Add the meat and the broth, bring to a boil.
Reduce heat to low, cover the pot and cook for about 3-4 hours until meat is very soft.
