Ingredientsο
2 cups sushi rice
3 cups water
1/2 cup rice vinegar
1 tablespoon vegetable oil
1/4 cup white sugar
1 teaspoon salt
Preparationο
Rinse the rice in a strainer until water runs clear.
Put rice in medium sauce pan.
Add water
Bring to a boil.
Reduce heat to low.
Cover.
Wait 20 minutes.
Turn off heat.
Add rice vinegar, oil, sugar, and salt to a small saucepan.
Cook until sugar dissolves.
Wait until itβs cool.
Stir the sauce into the rice until the rice feels dry.
