Marzipan
Ingredients
Almond meal (1.5 cups)
Powdered sugar (1.5 cups)
Almond extract (2 tsp)
Rose water (2 tsp)
Egg (1)
Preparation
Separate the yolks from the egg whites.
Add the powdered sugar to the almond meal.
Pulse to combine and break up any lumps.
Add the rose water, almond extract and egg whites.
Mix in food processor until the mix comes together in a firm mass.
Put the mix on a work surface.
Knead the mix.
Shape the mix into a log.
Wrap tightly with saran wrap.
Refrigerate.
