Beef Cheek Pot Roast ==================== Ingredients ----------- * 1 pound meat cut into cubes 2×2 cm each (6 servings) * 1 celery root, diced * 1 celery stick, diced * 2 white carrots, diced * 2 orange carrots, diced * 1 small leek, cut into thin rings * 1 small onion or 2 shallots, diced * 1 tsp Italian herbs * ½ tsp black pepper * 1 tsp salt * 2 tbsp olive oil * 2 cups beef broth Instructions ------------ 1. Fry meat in a pot with olive oil on all sides on high heat. 2. Remove meat from pot and keep warm. 3. Add the vegetables and spices to the pot and fry for a few minutes until slightly softened. 4. Add the meat and the broth, bring to a boil. 5. Reduce heat to low, cover the pot and cook for about 3-4 hours until meat is very soft.
